Fred and Jennifer Harris live in the DFW area with their 3 children and Golden Retriever. Their lives changed forever on 17 Aug 2014 when their youngest son (age 2) was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Stage 4 high risk cancer. Their lives changed again on 21 Sept 2015 when their youngest son (now age 3) took his final breath.

It was their hope that this blog would not only document Liam’s treatment and provide information about his progress and prayer requests, but also document his remarkable recovery. Even though Liam’s healing did not come on this side of heaven, they will continue to praise the Lord. They continue to trust that God had a plan for Liam’s life, and even though Liam is no longer here with us on earth, his legacy continues to bring glory to God.

  2. I don’t know you folks but just wanted you to know that I just saw a Facebook post regarding your young son, Liam. I then clicked to your site to learn more. Your words made me cry and rejoice at the same time. I am still crying for Liam and you having to go thru this terrible ordeal but rejoicing in your faith that God has a plan for all of us even though we cannot always understand it. I have already prayed for healing for Liam and strength and continued faith for you that God is in charge. And I will continue to pray for all of you and the medical staff. I very much believe in the power of prayer. I would like to share a Bible verse that provided strength for my wife and I as she fought an aggressive breast cancer – Philippians4:6-7 reads “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with THANKSGIVING, make your specific request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

  3. Fred and family,
    Just a quick note to let you know that Bear Creek BC has been praying for all of you since finding out about Liam. Also your friends at SWDCARC are also thinking and praying for all of you. GOD is good.

  4. Psalm 131

    My heart is not proud, O Lord, my eyes are not haughty;
    I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.

    But, I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

    O Israel, put your hope in the Lord both now and forevermore.

  5. Hi! Just want you to know that we are praying for Liam and you all here in Bangkok, Thailand. My dad pastored Rock Hill Church for a few years a while back, and we’ve been connected with them and now First Rock for some time. May you experience the peace and joy in the middle of the storm, that can only come from our Lord. Sam & Pat
