  1. While perusing the paper yesterday, Liam’s obituary caught my eye. This morning I worshipped as I read every word of your posts. I am a fellow-lover of Jesus, a husband, dad, grand-dad, and pastor. Thanks for sharing your journey, and I will continue to pray for y’all.

  2. Dear Fred and Jennifer,
My wife and I live and work with a mission organization in Bangkok, Thailand. We first heard of Liam maybe a year or so ago through emails from First Rock Fellowship in Aubrey, Texas. We’ve been praying for him and you guys since then as we received updates. Somehow I think we missed one, and just this morning as I clicked on the bookmark for his page I saw the news about his passing. My heart hurts for you and your children, particularly as you go through this first Christmas without him. But I also know that you WILL see him again, and he will be SO excited to see you all! We can’t fully identify with what you are going through, as we have never lost a child. But please know that though we’ve never met, we are standing with you and your children in prayer for our Father’s comfort, strength and grace during this Christmas season. In all that comes up, may you know the powerful and gentle presence of the One who is now spending time with Liam, and who will someday permanently put an end to all sickness and death.
